In June 2019, Maryland Easy Enrollment Health Insurance Program Advisory Work Group was authorized (Chapter 424, Acts of 2019).
Work Group advised Maryland Health Benefit Exchange on the implementation of the Maryland Easy Enrollment Health Insurance Program. As part of Program, Comptroller of Maryland was to include on individual income tax return forms a checkoff to indicate whether an individual (or a member of the household covered by individual income tax return form) was uninsured. Work Group advised Comptroller on specific language to be used on individual income tax return form.
NAVIGATOR ADVISORY COMMITTEE
Navigator Advisory Committee was formed by Board of Trustees in July 2012.
Committee developed options for operating Insurance Navigator Program.
Committee submitted its final report to Board on Nov. 15, 2012.

PLAN & PARTNER MANAGEMENT
PLAN MANAGEMENT ADVISORY COMMITTEE
Plan Management Advisory Committee was authorized by Board of Trustees in June 2012.
Committee reviewed policies for plan management areas, including plan certification and recertification; rules for insurance carriers in the Exchange; decertification rules; plan information for consumers; and dental and vision plan management policies.
Committee presented its report to Board on Aug. 8, 2012.
