TASK FORCE FOR WOMEN ENTREPRENEURS
In February 2019, Task Force for Women Entrepreneurs was authorized by Board of Directors.
Task Force was to recruit, fund, and provide operational support of women-owned and women-led start up companies in Maryland.
In 2022, Task Force completed its work, resulting in Women Entrepreneur Leadership Program.
TECHNOLOGY COMMERCIALIZATION FUND
UNIVERSITY PARTNERSHIPS
University Partnerships formed in 2012 and was responsible for two programs: the Maryland Innovation Initiative, and the Maryland Stem Cell Research Fund.

Through Maryland Technology Incubator Program, Corporation encouraged and promoted entrepreneurship and creation of jobs in technology-related industries. To nonprofit corporations, public entities, or existing incubator programs, Program provided matching funds for acquisition and construction of new or expanded space, or renovation of existing space for incubator facilities (Code Economic Development Article, secs. 10-419 through 10-426).
