In February 2019, the Governor formed the Maryland Complete Count Committee (Executive Order 01.01.2019.03).
Through March 31, 2020, Committee met at least quarterly to develop and implement a community outreach strategy that encouraged full participation in 2020 federal census. With local government, community organizations and local complete count committees, Committee worked to accomplish its objectives. Hard-to-count populations and groups were a focus of Committee's plans and strategies for overcoming barriers to participation in 2020 Census.
When Census was completed in Oct. 2020, Committee's work was done.
