In July 2019, the Task Force to Study the Frederick County Public School System’s Elementary School Social–Emotional Learning Pilot Program was authorized by the General Assembly (Chapter 556, Acts of 2019).

The Task Force studied the implementation of the Frederick County Public School System’s Elementary School Social–Emotional Learning Pilot Program, and evaluated its effectiveness. Further, the Task Force identified what resources would be needed to expand the Program to all elementary, middle and high schools in the County.

Authorization for the Task Force ended June 30, 2020.
