In January 2000, th Public Trust and Confidence Implementation Committee was formed by the Chief Judge of Court of Appeals.

The Committee implemented strategies to bolster public confidence and renew public trust in the courts. In continuing work of the Committee on Building Public Trust and Confidence in Justice System, the Committee cooperated with Maryland State Bar Association.

As part of the restructuring of judicial committees, the Committee was disbanded in December 2014.
