The Maryland Water/Wastewater Agency Response Network formed in December 2009. County Executives from Anne Arundel, Baltimore, Harford and Howard counties signed an agreement to help all members of the Network respond to emergencies and restore critical water and wastewater services. The mutual aid agreement helps member counties to share emergency resources with members statewide; provide quicker response and recovery from disasters; develop emergency contacts and relationships; and learn new ways to deal with disasters.
