Assistant professor, Morgan State University. Program director for a radio station. Honorary co-chair, Task Force to End Smoking in Maryland, 1999. Past member, Board of Visitors, U.S. Naval Academy, Annapolis. Member, Advisory Board, Schomburg Commission for the Preservation of Black Culture; Senior Advisory Committee, John F. Kennedy School of Government, Harvard University. Board of Trustees, The Johns Hopkins University Meyerhoff National Advisory Board of the University of Maryland; People for the American Way.
